Carol Bradley Bursack, Aug 19, 2010
Over the span of two decades author, columnist and speaker Carol Bradley Bursack cared for a neighbor and six elderly family members. Because of this experience, Bradley Bursack created a portable support group, the book "Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories."
Assisted living rarely offers the kind of care she needs, so you'd likely have to pay extra to have an in-home agency come into the AL to help her. The same could be done in her home, but AL would have other advantages.
If she needs 24/7 care for long, a nursing home may be a better option, but trying AL along with an in-home agency to provide the needed care, could be workable for awhile.Carol
