Is this a disease of the muscles?

Asked by sqeked  |  Jan 30, 2009

My husband has come back home to me from the nursing home with ailments that weren't there before. I will be taking him to a new Dr., but until then, I'm wondering about this stiffness he seems to have in his neck. He also leans his head to one side-(left). I have to prop a pillow beside him just to let him drink and eat- while in bed. Overall really, he seems tight. When I lean him on his side to change him- incontinence- he's all tight. I have a whole lot of things to discuss with the Doc believe you me! He also keeps his legs bent up too. So I'm constantly trying to get him to straighten them out. I've been reading as much as I can on this website. A lot of it HAS been about how overwhelming it is to be a caregiver- which it is. I was just wondering if anyone else has this issue with their loved ones.
Thanks
