Carol Bradley Bursack, Mar 4, 2010
Over the span of two decades author, columnist and speaker Carol Bradley Bursack cared for a neighbor and six elderly family members. Because of this experience, Bradley Bursack created a portable support group, the book “Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories.” Her sites, www.mindingourelders.com and www.mindingoureldersblogs
Unfortunately, that could be hard unless you can get in a group. You are too young for AARP. If anyone out there has ideas, please put them up on line! We've had others ask.
Your best route on your own is to try (and you may have done this) an agent who represents many companies. Good luck. We have many people who can't get insurance. It's very tough.Carol
