How is your Mom doing on Megestrol. I am trying it on my Mom as of today ( March 10,2010)

My mom was on a medication called megase-when she had a poor appetite.....Check out the side effects and check if this is right for her.

megace is a chemotheraputic drug that stimulates appetite, lots of side effects but it does work.

My mother was on megace at different times....It did increase her appetite with no side effects....She is not back to eating normally, so we have not given it to her for some time now...But she did fine....
