Everyones different, but mostly chemo doesnt make people sick the WHOLE time. It really depends on what kind of chemo medication they are getting. For instance, my mom has chemo every monday and from monday thru wednesday, she just sleeps all the time. shes losing her hair, but she doesnt vomit. she may have some diarrhea once in a while, but thats really the extent. the nurses at your chemo place should be giving this person anti nauseau meds in their IV before chemo and a prescription of anti nauseau meds to take home. maybe check on that. good luck to you and know you arent alone...
