What little I've learned on the subject says that you might well be eligible for a stipend type payment... IF ...your Mom qualifies for Medicaid - NOT Medicare. That's one avenue to check out.Another consideration is to check with your local Area Agency for the Aging. From them, once your name rotates to the top, you may receive a small amount. That will help you with your ability to hire someone for a short time here and there for grocery shopping, etc. Or, a mini vacation by reason of their payment to an accredited facility.Good luckV
