Are there any financial benefits for children giving full time care for a elderly mother with dementia?

I can not work because her condition requires full time care.

I don't know what state you live in.but most have similar programs. If she qualifies for Medicaid there is a program that can pay up to 100 hours to a caregiver ...that can be you or someone outside.
