Name brand Namenda along with Exelon patches did help my Mom for three years, but her dementia has developed to the point that no medication helps anymore.

What is your Mom's current progression now? It's been a little over 2 years since I started the same medications with my Spouse. God bless you, your Mom and your family.
Mom is in the midpoint of the Moderate level. Her neurologist took her off the patches back in January, but we continued the Namenda. We aren't sure now that the Namenda is effective anymore and will probably call to see if the doctor will agree to take her off of it. Within 2 days of the combination of these two meds at the beginning, Mom's memory returned and she seemed her old self. It's only been within the last 5 months we've noticed the regression. May God grant mercy to you, your Spouse, and your family.
