...Read MoreDear Margie, after reading your profile, I see your husband is taking the same meds my Dad started with. All I can tell you is what we did. Dad's anger episodes were so bad, and unexplainable, and Mom called often with similar reports, that we called 911, and there were two ER visits. The last admitted him to a Geeriatric Psychiatric Ward for "observation" and "stabilization," meaning, medications. He was not compliant, but was forced to received them through the court system, then sent to a Nursing Home. He is still there, but unfortunately, still experiencing angry outbursts. They have called in Community Mental Health to do an assessment and give them recommendations, because nothing is working... I also understand feeling intimidated. It is heart-wrenching, so I'll keep you in prayer. Have you tried going to a Support Group for Dementia. You may find some of the answers you seek there. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Know you're not alone. I do hope you take care of yourself despite the difficulties. I wish you the best.
