I am 33 years old, and have taken care of my mom for several years now, but as of the last year, I have become her primary care giver as a paying job. I found out thru a friend that I could be employed at doing the same exact things I was doing anyway. So, this has really been a blessing since caring for her was keeping me from getting an "outside" job. But being her caregiver has proven to be 75 times harder than any job I'VE EVER HAD!!
I am caring for my mother, Beth, living at home and the primary ailment is alzheimer's / dementia.
