...Read MoreI just lost my mother last week. Admittedly, it was a blessing/sadness feeling. She wasn't the same when she passed. She had dimentia and was difficult to get along with at times and her care issues were ongoing. Luckily I had found an in-house caregiver, but still felt guilty by not spending more time with her near the end. The truth is I didn't like seeing her in her current condition. I know I will miss her dearly and will remember her earlier days with us as opposed to the later. Don't beat yourself up - you are not alone. Do get help whereever it is findable. God bless you and hang in there. I personally am looking for a long term care insurance policy for myself (age 58) so my children will not be faced with the problem of what to do with mom!
