Understand that this behavior is very common, especially in early dementia,which my mum has, thats weird too that your family is Canadian as well, as mine is from Montreal, Quebec, and even some in Toronto too! thats cool! as time goes by she will start to realize that every waking whim cannot and will not be about her only, THey get very selfpitying, and I tell her all the time that I dont do pity parties, that I would be glad to come for Bingo, or do our nails,which we do regularly now, as long as there is no fussing and crying about things we have no control over! Its seems too work itself out in the long run, let time run its course! let me know how things go! BIG HUG, as I know how tough this is on us!
