A business owner; a mother; a widow; a daughter & a caregiver (together with my sister~arose4yu) to three beautiful and loving disabled seniors of that special WWII generation....
It is because of the terrible experiences of dementia and tragedy that my mom experienced with different facilities that my sister and I developed a website~ http://www.caring-for-mom-and-dad.info. Our passion is to help others in overcoming hardships and dealing with their loved ones' dementia/ alzheimers disease based on our personal experiences and careful research.
In addition to the dementia/alzheimers, my mother-in-law also survived skin cancer. She also overcame a "suicide disease called trigemminal neuralgia...Through our careful research, we found a great doctor from Scripps La Jolla, CA that cured her "trigeminal neuralgia through the latest laser technique & advanced medical technology....
Last year, my father also had a congestive heart failure in addition to his stroke a few years ago.......The doctors gave up on him and asked me to call on my family to give his last rights, but I didn't give up on him.... I knew him well~ a WWII Hero..he was a fighter and will not want to leave his wife all alone with dementia...so he fought with me to save his failing lungs and heart....So you can see that my sister and I have become quite an expert and a devoted caregiver to both my loving parents and my own mother-in-law...
We have family who works in the hospital, a caregiver who helps us and has seen it all....
Miracles happen if you do believe.....
My parents had sacrificed a lot for their children of six coming from a different country to give us the opportunity to do good for ourselves and to the society that gave us the real meaning of real freedom of the mind, spirit, body and soul... My parents were very wise and it is our turn to give back to them the kindness, compassion, and devotion that they have given for the sake of their children....Without them, we won't be where we are today.......
