As a caregiver, your loved one is your number one priority. At AgingCare.com you are our number one priority. In honor of National Family Caregivers Month, we want to make a deserving caregiver’s life a little easier.

So we’re holding a contest. The prize? $2,000 of free housecleaning! Just share your caregiving story for a chance to win. It could be a sweet moment you’ve shared with your loved one, some upbeat wisdom that might help others, or a funny story that takes the edge off.

Here’s your chance to take some of the burden off of your caregiving duties. The contest winner can use their Merry Maids gift card for housecleaning at their own home, their parents’ house…wherever they choose.

Hello,
I work and care for my brother ( Carlos ) for the last 8 years because my mother passed away and I took her role. My brother is mildly retarded and some days he wishes he was as normal as you and I.

He loves sox games and cubs games and enjoys looking at his baseballs cards and
loves to go to movies, and every chance I have I do take him there.
I do this because I will not have my brother walk the streets and be a nobody, because I make it know to him he is a person.
I wish I can stay home with him everyday and make his life a little more comfortable for his sake.
My world is making sure he is safe and protect him from harm everyday.

I do hope everyone has a heart in which to help someone in need.
We should remember our reward is the smile on their face everyday.
