HealthCPA members are matched one-on-one with a Medical Billing Advocate, who audits all of their bills and EOBs, lets them know when bills are ready to pay, and when necessary, follows up with hospitals and insurance companies to fix billing errors and appeal denied claims. Advocates also help members find health insurance plans, obtain pre-authorizations and out-of-pocket cost estimates for upcoming procedures, and can even handle bill payment.
Members have access to a complete digital record of their health care finances on their secure online dashboard, MyHealthCPA.
Josh’s work in health care also extends to serving on the boards of Trumpet Behavioral Health, a health care company dedicated to helping autistic children through applied behavioral analysis, and Murphy Insurance, an insurance broker of health insurance plans and other commercial insurance products.
Earlier in his career, he played a variety of roles in multiple industries with an emphasis on marketing, finance, and business strategy. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Virginia and earned his MBA at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
