I haven't a clue what Windows I have.... I know it's not WIN 8, and I know it's not DOS :0.

Next time I log on I will try Firefox as I am currently using Internet Explorer.

Does anyone who's having problems here or with other sites, including receiving the same notifications several times, still use XP or XP Pro as her/his operating system? I haven't upgraded yet (not particularly interested in WIN 8) and wonder if some of the problems are because XP is no longer supported and Microsoft isn't addressing whatever problems occur.

Today I received notification from another forum of the same post - 11 times; that seems to be the magic number so hopefully I won't receive any more.

Oops, had to once again reset my "notification" of new postings. Yesterday evening and overnight postings popped up in my email. But nothing more since late this morning. Watch they will all show up at once, I will get 30 notifications :)

You can also contact admin.... tell them the problem... sometimes it's their server.....

assandache7, I ran into a problem the other day on Aging Care where I wasn't getting notification of new postings, which I thought was odd since there is always someone posting something.

Someone had suggested I go into my Account to "Emails and Newsletters" and reset it, and sure enough that worked :)

It's only happening on AC...

Computers are sensitive to heat and humidity. At one firm where I worked, the a/c wasn't turned down lower on very humid days and the computers crashed or froze when the heat and humidity accelerated in the afternoon.

I usually blame the weather for bad computer behavior :)

Really, any time the weather is frightful, it does something to the computers here at home and also at work.

Not sure what's going on. I've had trouble here ever since that Memphis troll posted. Seriously.

You could contact the admins directly - they've helped in the past when I was getting 11 notifications of the same message, or no notifications at all.

https://www.agingcare.com/contactus.aspx is the best way to contact them, I think.
