Give a Hug

Jul 16, 2009

My father in law has Parkinson's Disease. He was diagnosed after having a stroke two years ago. For the last couple of days he hasn't been

able to stand up on his own and last night he coudn't sit up. Is this normal or Parkinson's Disease or should I get him to a doctor?

Since this is a change, I'd get him to a doctor pronto.

Sudden changes, big changes should always be evaluated ASAP.

Yes, call a Dr. This happens to my mom and Dr. said they are episodes or flareups, but always check. Parkinson's can be different things for different people. Not everyone has the same systems. Good luck.
