Give a Hug
care attorney. My mother was able to tranfer the deed to the house to her name, and her will was changed to leave 1/3 of her assetts to my father, thus to the nursing home. Since I have cared for her, to the exclusion of all else, and kept her from being placed in a nursing home, am I not entitled to retain the house and avoid having to sell it to pay the nursing home's assumed lein. The will mentions nothing about me as an adult care giving child to my mother, but there is much medical evidence to document this.
