You are trying to explain things to your mother and she is unable (and unwilling) to accept this reality. Please know that this is common with someone with Alzheimer's. You can try to get her involved and going to a SENIOR center during the day (Senior Day Care). AND if she doesn't want to be with all the 'old' people, tell her that the old people NEED her to help them.
